Slugterra - Characters & Cast

Initially motivated by the desire to find his missing father and uphold his family legacy; this evolves into a genuine personal commitment to protect the people and slugs of Slugterra from tyranny.

Eli begins as a naive 15-year-old outsider trying to fill his father's shoes. Over the series, he evolves from a rookie needing rescue into a master tactician and leader who surpasses his father. He masters advanced techniques like Slug Fu and Fusion Shots, eventually becoming not just the protector of the 99 Caverns, but a bridge between civilizations (Eastern Caverns) and a savior of the slug species.

Fame, fortune, and maintaining his inflated self-image.

A Molenoid tracker who claims to be a master adventurer. While often used for comedy due to his incompetence and ego, he occasionally proves his worth through his knowledge of geography and tracking. He surprisingly becomes a King of the Molenoids briefly, showing flashes of genuine bravery when his friends are in true peril.

Absolute control over Slugterra and revenge against the Shane bloodline.

Once a rival to Will Shane, Blakk descends into obsession with dark science. He discovers how to corrupt slugs into ghouls, building an empire on fear. His arc is one of self-destruction; as he seeks more power, he physically and mentally transforms, eventually becoming a monster consumed by the very dark energy he sought to weaponize.

Loyalty to the Shane family and protecting his fellow slugs.

Eli's main Infurnus slug and Will Shane's former partner. Burpy serves as a mentor figure to the other slugs and often guides Eli. He is the first to accept Eli as the new Shane, bridging the gap between the boy and the underground world. He remains the emotional anchor of the team.
