To protect her unborn child and survive the night unharmed.

Refuses to drink sangria because she is pregnant, making her the only sober person in the troupe; she becomes the primary victim of the group's mob paranoia, enduring physical attacks and severe trauma.

To fuel the energy of the dancers through music.

Commands the initial party from behind his turntables; as the LSD takes effect, he remains stationary, transforming from the architect of joy into a helpless observer watching the chaos play out to his soundtrack.

Sexual dominance and self-gratification.

Introduced as an arrogant, sexually aggressive dancer; under the influence of drugs, his behavior escalates into predatory hostility, ultimately turning the mob against him.

Nihilistic curiosity or a secret urge to destroy order.

Presents herself during interviews as anti-drug; quietly spikes the sangria and watches the disintegration of the troupe while secretly dosing herself, waking up unscathed in the morning.
