Key Trait: Ambitious

Motivation

Initially, Zak's motivation is to be a hero and impress Cloe. As the series progresses, his motivation shifts to protecting his friends and saving the Earth from the Zorn. By the end of the second season, his focus is on becoming the best Hakuru he can be to protect everyone, even at great personal cost.

Character Arc

Zak begins as an attention-seeking and somewhat arrogant teenager who dreams of being popular. Upon becoming a Sendokai warrior, he naturally assumes the leadership role (Hakuru) but often struggles with the responsibility. Throughout the first season, he learns humility and the importance of teamwork. In the second season, his leadership is challenged by Lon, forcing Zak to confront his jealousy and insecurities. His arc is about maturing from a boy who wants glory for himself into a true leader who fights for his team and the multiverse.

Cloe

Carme Calvell

Archetype: The Sage / The Heart
Key Trait: Intelligent

Motivation

Cloe's primary motivation is to protect her friends and family. She is driven by logic and a desire to do the right thing. Her feelings for Zak also play a significant role in her actions and decisions throughout the series.

Character Arc

Cloe starts as an intelligent, responsible, but often timid and insecure girl. As a Sendokai warrior, she is the team's strategist, using her intellect to find creative solutions. Her arc focuses on building self-confidence and trusting her own abilities. In the second season, she is placed in the middle of the conflict between Zak and Lon, which forces her to become more assertive and emotionally resilient. Her kidnapping by Lon at the end of season 2 marks a pivotal point, transforming her from a team member into the central figure of the ongoing conflict.

Kiet

Juan Antonio Soler

Archetype: The Gentle Giant
Key Trait: Strong

Motivation

Kiet is motivated by his loyalty to his friends. While he dislikes effort, his desire not to let his friends down pushes him to train and fight. He is the anchor of the team, providing stability and strength when needed.

Character Arc

Kiet is introduced as the laziest boy in the universe, more interested in video games and food than anything else. His journey in Sendokai forces him to overcome his indolence and tap into his immense physical strength for the good of the team. His arc is about discovering his own worth and learning the value of effort and discipline. He evolves from being the comic relief to a reliable and powerful defender of the team.

Fenzy

Ariadna Jiménez

Archetype: The Rebel
Key Trait: Fast

Motivation

Fenzy is motivated by a desire to prove herself and a love for competition. She thrives on action and speed. Beneath her tough exterior, she is deeply loyal to her friends and will do anything to protect them.

Character Arc

Fenzy is characterized by her bravery, sarcasm, and extreme speed. She is fiercely independent and impulsive, often rushing into situations without thinking. Her arc involves learning to temper her pride and channel her speed with more strategic thinking. She develops from a lone wolf into a true team player who understands that speed alone isn't enough to win.

Lon

Ángel de Gracia Galindo

Archetype: The Fallen Hero / The Rival
Key Trait: Envious

Motivation

This desperate need for validation ultimately leads to his downfall and transformation into the Great Zorn.

Character Arc

Introduced in the second season as a new ally, Lon is skilled and confident. However, his feelings for Cloe and his intense rivalry with Zak plant seeds of jealousy and resentment. His arc is a tragic descent into villainy. Feeling isolated and betrayed by the team, he allows his negative emotions to consume him, culminating in him claiming the Great Zorn's helmet and becoming the primary antagonist.
