The Setup & Assassination: In Bangkok, Cole Reed acts as security head to Tibu Campallo, who is finalizing the sale of his shipping conglomerate KMG. Following a private dinner, their convoy is ambushed by a tactical hit squad consisting of rogue Bangkok police officers. Cole eliminates several attackers, but Tibu is shot and dies in his arms. Corrupt precinct figures frame Cole for the murder. Cole examines a dead operative's manifest and discovers the strike was coordinated from the Artemis, a KMG freighter departing Bangkok that night.
Infiltrating the Artemis: Cole infiltrates the harbor, eliminates the replacement mercenary, assumes his identity, and sneaks aboard. As the vessel hits international waters, Cole meets Angie Ellis, a technician who realizes Cole is not who he claims to be. When Cole investigates the cargo decks, he uncovers Captain Marko Madsen's real cargo: retrofitted shipping containers housing trafficked refugees and political dissidents sold to black-market buyers. Tibu had discovered this illicit ring within his fleet and was assassinated before he could hand over evidence to federal authorities during the company sale.
The Climax & Resolution: Cole and Angie stage a two-person mutiny, methodically isolating and killing Marko's heavily armed crew through the dark, water-filled service corridors. Angie breaches the ship's communication array to transmit GPS coordinates and encrypted cargo logs to international naval patrols. In the final showdown on the rain-swept cargo deck, Cole engages Captain Marko Madsen in brutal hand-to-hand combat, ultimately impaling and dropping him into the ship's churning propeller wash. Allied international maritime security intercepts the freighter, liberating the captive refugees. The transmitted logs exonerate Cole, expose the conspirators back in Bangkok, and secure Kameron's safety and inheritance.
