Four years after breaking up, Noah accidentally spills coffee on a charming man named Simón on her flight to Ibiza. Arriving in Ibiza for Jenna and Lion's wedding, Noah and Nick reunite as maid of honor and best man. Undeniable attraction leads them to sleep together on the wedding night, but the following morning Nick coldly tells Noah he still cannot forgive her for her past night with Michael, leaving her heartbroken.
In Madrid, Noah graduates and lands a job at a tech startup, discovering that Simón is the CEO. They begin dating. Meanwhile, Nick works at LCR and purchases a controlling stake in Simón's tech firm to execute his modern business vision. Nick breaks up with his girlfriend/fiancée Sofía after realizing he can never truly love anyone except Noah.
Noah discovers she is pregnant with Nick's child from their night together in Ibiza. Vengeful former counselor Michael (who was ruined professionally after sleeping with Noah) teams up with unhinged Briar (seeking revenge for her lost child). Michael shoots Nick, placing him into a coma. While Nick lies in a coma, Noah gives birth to their baby girl. Nick awakens from his coma, sees his baby daughter, and lets go of all his past bitterness toward Noah.
In a final thrilling climax, Briar attempts to kidnap their newborn baby, but Nick and Noah successfully protect their child and neutralize the threat. Having overcome their past trauma, Nick and Noah get married and begin their new chapter as a devoted family.
