Gil Bok-soon is assigned to assassinate a high-profile politician’s son to make his death look like a staged suicide. Upon discovering the boy was innocent and targeted solely to cover up admissions fraud, Bok-soon fakes a failure, violating MK's core rule that every sanctioned "show" must be carried out.
Bok-soon's trainee Kim Young-ji learns the truth, prompting Cha Min-hee to scheme Bok-soon's purge by offering C-tier assassins, including Bok-soon's occasional partner Han Hee-sung, instant promotions to A-tier if they execute her. In a standout tavern battle, Bok-soon single-handedly wipes out her treacherous colleagues. In response, Cha Min-kyu murders Young-ji to cover up the breach and executes his own sister, Min-hee, after Bok-soon demands retribution, demonstrating his sole loyalty lies with Bok-soon.
Bok-soon subsequently infiltrates MK headquarters to fight Min-kyu. After losing every theoretical scenario in her mental combat simulations, Bok-soon realizes Min-kyu's emotional blind spot is his affection for her, exploiting his hesitation to fatally slice his throat. As Min-kyu dies, he reveals a tablet live-streaming the blood-soaked fight directly to Jae-young’s phone. However, when Bok-soon returns home battered, Jae-young gently welcomes her, choosing unconditional empathy over judgment. In the mid-credits scene, Jae-young applies her mother’s fearless poise to stand up to her school tormentor, completing her transition into adulthood.
