- Season 1 Twists: Dr. Michael Gehabich’s laboratory experiment accidentally bridges Earth and Vestroia, exposing him to negative Silent Core energy (transforming him into Hal-G) and his granddaughter Alice into Masquerade. The Brawlers venture into the Doom Dimension, passing tests from the Six Legendary Soldiers. Naga is defeated, and Drago absorbs the Infinity Core, sacrificing his physical companionship with Dan to restore the unified world of New Vestroia.
- Season 2 Twists: The Vestal royal family conquers New Vestroia, turning Bakugan into game gladiators. The masked Vexos leader Spectra Phantom is revealed as Keith Clay, son of Professor Clay and brother to Resistance leader Mira Clay. The Six Legendary Soldiers sacrifice their attribute energies to protect Vestroia, triggering Drago’s evolution. King Zenoheld’s ultimate superweapon, the Alternative, is destroyed, ending royal Vestal tyranny.
- Season 3 Twists: Ren Krawler arrives claiming Neathia invaded Gundalia, but the Brawlers discover Gundalia is the actual aggressor. Drago and Emperor Barodius’s Dharak are revealed to be direct genetic descendants of the original Progenitor Dragonoid and Dharaknoid. Dharak mutates via the Sacred Orb into Phantom Dharak, but is overwhelmed by the Orb's immense cosmic light, ending the war.
- Season 4 & Series Finale: The radiation from Dharak’s defeat mutates Emperor Barodius into Mag Mel and Dharak into Razenoid, linked telepathically to Dan and Drago. After Mag Mel is eliminated, the Nonet Bakugan and the rogue artificial titan Mechtavius Destroyer attempt a universal purge. Dan, Drago, and their allies destroy Mechtavius in the final battle.
