Meanwhile, passengers on KI501 observe domestic discord via onboard Wi-Fi and hold an emotional vote to forgo landing to protect their homeland.

The Climax & Resolution
Once In-ho stabilizes, proving the antiviral is effective, landing clearance is granted. Running out of fuel and battling failed systems, Jae-hyuk executes an extreme manual dead-stick landing on a narrow runway. The survivors are quarantined and treated. The epilogue depicts a reunion gathering where In-ho's weakened, wheelchair-bound state highlights the enduring physical and psychological cost of survival.
