Fast X — Ending Explained

• The Rome Setup: Dante hacks Cipher's systems and manipulates the Agency into sending Dom's crew to Rome on a fake mission, turning a massive kinetic bomb loose through the city streets and branding Dom's team global outlaws.
• Jakob's Ultimate Sacrifice: While escorting Little Brian on a highway in Portugal, Uncle Jakob realizes fuel lines are blocked on his weaponized vehicle; he launches himself into Dante's mercenary convoy, detonating his cannon car to clear the path for Dom.
• The Aimes Double-Cross: Agency Director Aimes, who ostensibly formed a truce with Dom, is revealed to have been Dante's secret confederate since the Rio heist. Aimes uses a rocket launcher to shoot down the cargo plane containing Roman, Tej, Han, and Ramsey, leaving their survival uncertain.
• The Dam Descent & Cliffhanger: Cornered on top of a Portuguese dam by remote-controlled fuel tankers, Dom drives his Dodge Charger straight down the near-vertical concrete face of the dam, plunging into the water below with Little B. As they surface, Dante activates timed explosives lining the entire dam structure, cutting to black before the blast.
• The Antarctica Prison Break: In a remote black site facility, Letty and Cipher fight their way out into the frozen Antarctic tundra, where a giant nuclear submarine surfaces; the hatch opens to reveal Gisele Yashar alive.
