The Backstory Revelation: Before Yangyang, Lee Eun-o was an introverted, compliant woman who was cheated on and dumped by her fiancé, and subsequently rejected in job interviews. Reaching rock bottom, she fled to Yangyang and adopted the identity of an acquaintance, "Yoon Seon-a," resolving to act fearless and energetic.
The Wedding and the Ghosting: In Yangyang, Jae-won and "Seon-a" fall in love, stage a mock wedding in a camper van, and exchange rings. When Jae-won is called back to Seoul on urgent architectural business, they plan to reunite. However, upon returning to Seoul, Eun-o discovers her ex-boyfriend has impregnated another woman and her life is a mess. Paralyzed by shame that Jae-won will see her real, unglamorous self, she leaves a voicemail breaking things off and keeps his camera bag.
The Coincidental Connection & Seoul Climax: Jae-won spends a year agonizing over the disappearance of his "camera thief". Irony strikes when it turns out Eun-o lives as a neighbor/friend to Jae-won's cousin Kyeong-jun and writer Geon. Once Jae-won uncovers her true identity, bitter confrontations follow. Eun-o tries to push him away, returning the cameras and insisting "Seon-a" was purely a lie.
The Finale Resolutions: Jae-won discovers Eun-o’s humble suitcase-office and tells her that he loves who she is in totality—both the quiet Eun-o and the bold Seon-a. They agree to discard their old Yangyang past and start dating fresh in Seoul. Meanwhile, Rin-i breaks up with Kyeong-jun after realizing he will never respect her desire for a simple, part-time life without trying to change her. Geon and Seon-yeong find mutual closure as platonic acquaintances, leaving all characters emotionally matured.
