Directed by Taweewat Wantha and written by renowned screen dramatist Wattana Weerayawattana, My Dearest Assassin (เลือดรักนักฆ่า) is a 2026 Thai romantic action-thriller that bridges visceral martial-arts choreography with the emotional stakes of classic melodrama. The narrative centers on Lhan, a young woman who carries an exceedingly rare blood type known across the criminal underworld as 'Aurum blood.' Because this blood provides rejuvenating and life-saving properties coveted by dying elites on the black market, Lhan's childhood in Vietnam is shattered when a ruthless collector-hunter murders her parents.
Rescued from capture, Lhan is taken to Thailand and sheltered inside 'House 89,' an underground syndicate of contract killers led by the austere patriarch Po. Kept isolated from the outside world inside the organization's fortified compound, Lhan is placed under the constant protection of Po’s son, Pran. As the years pass, Pran and his fellow orphan-in-arms M undergo rigorous combat training, while an unspoken, deep bond blossoms between Pran and the sheltered Lhan.
The fragile sanctuary of House 89 is shattered when the past resurfaces. The merciless hunter Pruek finally tracks down Lhan's whereabouts to claim her rare blood. Caught between the lethal machinations of rival syndicates and the hidden motives surrounding her captivity, Lhan refuses to remain a passive prize, choosing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the assassin she loves in a desperate bid for freedom.
