Upon returning to Incheon, Jung-seok’s team retrieves the cash truck, but an ambush by Unit 631 leads to Chul-min’s capture and the death of two teammates. Jung-seok is rescued by sisters Jooni and Yu-jin and brought to their hideout, where he meets their mother, Min-jung, and grandfather, Elder Kim.
Jung-seok realizes Min-jung is the woman he abandoned four years prior. Meanwhile, Chul-min is forced into Unit 631's zombie arena games. Captain Seo discovers the satellite phone in the truck and plans to escape to Hong Kong alone, taking the cash. Jung-seok and Min-jung infiltrate Unit 631's base to reclaim the truck. Jung-seok attempts to rescue Chul-min, but Sergeant Hwang shoots Chul-min dead.
A high-speed vehicular chase ensues across Incheon as Sergeant Hwang and Unit 631 pursue the truck. Jung-seok and Min-jung use light flares to trick massive zombie hordes into overrunning Hwang’s convoy, killing Hwang. At Incheon Port, Captain Seo ambushes the group, killing Elder Kim and shooting Min-jung in the leg before driving the truck onto the triad container ship. On board, the triad boss shoots Seo. In his dying moments, Seo deliberately reverses the truck into the ship's hold door, jamming it open so the zombie horde outside floods the vessel, killing the triad crew.
A UN rescue helicopter, called by Elder Kim before his death, arrives at a nearby highway. Injured and trapped in a truck, Min-jung draws zombies away with the horn so her daughters and Jung-seok can reach the helicopter. Refusing to repeat his past mistake of abandoning family, Jung-seok fights through the zombies to cover Min-jung, giving her the strength to break free and escape. They board the helicopter together and fly toward safety.
