The narrative begins with Cha Woo-sol suffering extreme bullying by Bae Seok-chan. Pushed beyond his breaking point, Woo-sol stabs Seok-chan in the right eye with a ballpoint pen, permanently blinding him. Consequently, Woo-sol is sentenced to three years in a juvenile correctional facility for aggravated assault.
Inside prison, Woo-sol meets former MMA champion Jung Do-hyun, who is serving a life sentence after killing the intruders who murdered his family. Do-hyun trains Woo-sol in striking, footwork, and ground grappling. Woo-sol uses these skills to overcome prison bullies and conquer his paralyzing fear.
Upon Woo-sol's release, Seok-chan—who trained in boxing and joined criminal elements specifically to exact revenge—ambushes him. In a brutal climactic brawl, Woo-sol remains calm, using tactical low kicks, counters, and wrestling to dismantle Seok-chan. Woo-sol decisively wins the duel and chooses restraint over murder, breaking the cycle of victimhood and stepping forward into true freedom.
