Across five seasons, the secrets of the Dutton family unwind through blood and betrayal:

• Early Seasons Setup: The pilot kills off eldest son Lee, forcing Kayce to return. Beth’s deep hatred for Jamie is revealed: as teenagers, when Beth got pregnant, Jamie took her to an Indian Health Service clinic that performed forced sterilizations without her full understanding, robbing her of the ability to have children.
• The Season 3 Hit & Adoption Reveal: Jamie discovers he was adopted after his biological father, Garrett Randall, tells him the truth.
