Touch Your Heart is a 16-episode South Korean romantic comedy-drama directed by Park Joon-hwa and written by Lee Myung-suk and Choi Bo-rim, adapted from Jäger's 2016 KakaoPage web novel. The story follows Oh Jin-shim (stage name Oh Yoon-seo), an elite Hallyu actress whose career is derailed after being falsely entangled in a high-profile chaebol scandal. Desperate to revive her career after a two-year hiatus, she seeks the lead role in a major legal television drama and agrees to work as a practicing legal secretary for three months to gain authentic field experience.
Placed at Always Law Firm, Jin-shim is assigned to assist Kwon Jung-rok, the firm's most accomplished, uncompromising, and emotionally detached defense attorney. Their professional partnership begins turbulently due to Jin-shim's initial lack of administrative competence and Jung-rok's cold demeanor. However, Jin-shim's earnest resolve to learn and Jung-rok's steadfast pursuit of justice gradually dissolve their mutual prejudices.
As the eccentric staff of the firm tackle various legal cases, Jin-shim becomes an invaluable partner to Jung-rok, and their dynamic evolves from friction into mutual respect and deep affection. The series explores the harmony between public celebrity personas and private authenticity, demonstrating how personal dedication and genuine empathy can rebuild self-worth.
